Keep Moving

In our grandparents' day it was common for each person to walk a lot each day as they carried out their daily activities.  Today we have become quite sedentary and spend a lot more time sitting and standing and much less time moving.  We therefore need to make a conscious effort to keep moving.  The average person now only takes 2000 steps per day.  For the sake of our health we should be taking 10,000 to 20,000 steps per day.
